Simone Biles

Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born March 14th in 1997, Columbus Ohio U.S.A. She was the first American female gymnast in history to be awarded four gold medals in a single Games. In Rio de Janeiro, she became the first female to ever win consecutive World All-around Championships (2013-15). Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area after her and her sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone first became interested in the sport of gymnastics at the age of six. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix which was where they went for a field trip. Biles took home a gold medal for the floor and bronze in vault at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships in 2010 before breaking into the top level of competition in 2011. In just two short years, she was the best athlete in her field. Biles was distinguished by her unwavering performance, exuberant personality as well as her difficult workout routine at all four events: vault uneven bars floor workout.
